Audio quality on OTR CDs varies from source to source - most people selling OTR are selling thrice-duped mp3 files from the Internet Archive burned onto CD-Rs. The only source I would trust for such...

I inherited many MP3's from my Dad when he passed away. It was from a "George L. Mercer". I don't know if he he is still selling them or not or what his website is? However they are quality MP3 CD's....

I wouldn't count on the Paley Center doing much restoration. They have a long-standing reputation for a lack of concern. The discs originated from David Goldin in Connecticut, who ran Radio Yesteryear...

Although I haven't listened to it for a while, I remember my copy of "The Thing On the Fourble Board" sounding just fine, overall.  It was part of a Radio Spirits boxed set.
